After you purchase and verify a domain in Mailchimp, you might not be ready to use it for a website just yet. If you need a temporary placeholder, we’ll help you set up a starter page with a custom, branded message about your business that lets visitors know what’s coming soon.
In this article, you'll learn how to create a starter page for your purchased domain.
Before you start
Here are some things to know before you begin this process.
- The starter page is available only for users who purchase a domain in Mailchimp.
- After you purchase your domain, it may take several hours before the domain will display your starter page.
- After you publish a website on your domain, it will replace your starter page. You will no longer be able to use or access your starter page for that domain.
