You just need to be a member of Pag-ibig to be able to avail its housing loan program and should have contributed at least two years. Low cost or socialized housing project are payable through Pag-ibig financing and can be paid for longer term up to 20 – 30 years to pay.
OFW or Filipino overseas workers can also avail from Pag-ibig housing loan program with up 2 to 3 million loanable amount loan range.

There are many low cost house subdivisions or projects now in Cebu, some of them are located in Mandaue City such as Deca Homes, and Lapu Lapu City such as East Ridge Residences.
These low cost houses are good for newly wed couple who are just starting out a new family, or to singles that wants to live in their own house instead of buying a studio condo unit.
Reservations fee are mostly from 5 to 20 thousand pesos good for 30 days. Pag-ibig monthly amortization range of 3,000 to 5,000 pesos.
Most of these houses cost only from 500,000.oo – 1,000, 000.oo million pesos. You can own one of these houses, through Pag-ibig financing.

I am looking for low cost houses or a for rent to own a house. I am not a member of PAG-IBIG and i want to know if there are other likes or programs that is only payable with certain amounts for rental in a few years and after which, my family can then own the house.

I want to ask if I could still qualify for the Deca Homes Mandaue Townhomes unit under a PAG-IBIG financing for 20 years term or Bank-financing long-term even if I am already 41 years old. I have been a regular PAG-IBIG contributor since 1999. My present monthly gross income in my present job is just P17,000 per month, and I only have P5,000 total savings in my bank savings account.
